Making money from a no deposit bonus can it be done?
19 May 2009I have been refering players for a long time now and the easiest way to get players to join with a no deposit bonus.
But when i look at the stats only 1 in 25 players actualy play more then 1Hr or collect over $1 rake!
So now i will try to see what i can do with a $7.70 no deposit bonus @ poker770, i have played poker for about 6yrs now and had some succes @ the major poker rooms and in some casinos in the UK. @ pokerstars players know me as the_sherriff , if look my stats up on thepokerdb.com you will see that i won close to $80.000 there. my total career winnings are arround $175.000. So im not a pro but i do know my way arround a poker table 
This deal is back to basics for me and i want to find out howmuch can i make in 90 days by playing poker from $0.00, i will also get 25% rake revenue as i signed up via my affiliation link.

Finaly received the money, but i also manegad to get the password for 2 private freerolls here (o-poker + wepokeryou) i joined them both o-poker = $200 added 600+players, wepokeryou = $25 added 39 players.
I played realy well in the o-poker event and took 2nd place $20 and i managed 5th place in the wepokeryou freeroll $2.60, this gives me a great boost and i hit the cash tables str8 away, i join a table called union city $0.25/$0.50 NLHE 6 seated. i sit down with $20 and play solid for just over 45 mins but im not getting much cards and the players here are not folding to any raises, im playing in one giant fishbowl here!
At one point i had $36 on the table but only managed to leave the table after 45mins hard work with $1.42 profit and 39.40 player points, not very happy about this i hit the SnG section as i love to play PLO SnG i locate a $5 PLO double up game about to start so i quickly register. 6 players pay $5.50 and the top 3 get $10, the other 3 leave with nothing Sure thing these Sng i played 3 won all 3, only had to struggle and grind in 1/3 i decided to play 1 more game a $5NLHE Heads up but i never stood a chance they guy just hit every river in the face, what a bloody fish runner runner , 2 outs, 3 outs he just kept calling and hitting, time to stop getting bit egdy!

Overall i had a good day yesterday looking at the dollars, but i realise thats only cause of a couple of private freerolls ($22.60+), i never got going in the cash games so lets see if we can change that today?
afternoon: i played the same level $0.25/$0.50 NL and once again picked $20 as my starting roll. The first few orbits i look what the others are made of but the non stop comming and going of players don t make that an easy task, luckely my KK stood up vs a smallstack all in move with AQ and i have a bit of breathing space now to call small raises with suited connectors and bluff my way out of trouble, i had 68c in possition to a x3 raise so i called and flop hit A73, my oponent put a $2.50 bet in a $3.75 pot, i did notice that this player usualy does pot bets so i figure that he dont like the ace 1 bit and raise x2 $5, when i see that he dont call or raise quick i know im right so all left to do is get him to fold his pp, not easy in a fishbowl! Like i tought he smoothly calls the min reraise and the turn hit the felt 10, he checks and i bet $7 into the $13.75 pot and i see the chips heading may alot quicker then i had hoped for! instant fold Now where talking...$27.65 richer i decide to leave and play 1 more $5PLO double up game this afternoon, but what seemed so easy yesterday....i get the boot after only 7 hands by the village idiot, this guy only had 1 button and won all 7 hands sofar knocking 2 players out in the process, my AAKJ got busted by 9662, yep he hit the 6. ohwell if even a blind bat can find food any fool can win a hand at poker no?

One of those days, played 3 $5 PLO double up SnG and never stood a chance ditto for a $2 Heads up never saw my starting chips back

Im on late today but still plenty of action going on, after my debacle yesterday i decide to stay way clear of those SnGs today and focus on ring games $0.25/$0.50 to be more excact. I love those 6 seater tables so lets see if we can poop someones party. I sit down once again with $20 and within 5 mins i managed to win a few pots an get some much needed cash on my teller! This dealer likes me AA, JJ and AKs both held up in an all in situation and soon i leave the table with $63! More then tripled up my money on that table wooooohoooo time to start over and i join a new table with $20 but here we find a tougher crowd and bit by bit i see my hard earned cash disapear, i still managed to leave the table with $6.02 and tried my luck on a new table, again sit with $20, but this time i shoulda looked first lol 2 guys have a stack $100+ and 2 others just short of $100...o dear i stepped into a minefield with only an embrella to protect me! after only 2 orbits i left the table with $15.60 left the game was just way 2 crazy for me dear friends and its way past my bed time now.

This gotta be the day i make some extra cash! 2 private freerolls 1 has $770 added other $100 im registered in both and i could also join the wepokeryou $25 freeroll later if i want, time for a quick bite and walk with dog b4 i hit the tables.
Yikes what a day, i played all 3 freerolls but never had a sniff at the money, 2 bad all these idiots take part in freerolls like this, $770 is a very nice prizepool no? Why do these idiots even bother getting the password and go tru the trouble of actualy registering if they plan to go all in every single hand? I have set up prob 500 freerolls as an affiliate but i was always there to see to it that whoever joined can play poker not lotto! I banned idiots from my forum and from my freerolls in 3 or 4 tourneys and the lowered the Nr of seats to max 250 and only players linked ( joined via my blog can register ) so even if the idiots get hold of the password and spread it its worthless now my freerolls get played by players enjoying it! Ohwel atleast ive got my own private freeroll comming up in just a few hours @ BBPoker and i expect about 40 players to turn up! i have 2x a month a freeroll for my players @ BBPoker if you click/join here u can play in the next one!
Ill try a few SnG @ Poker770 after my tourney to try and make a few $ profit today after al. After just a few days im very happy that i am still going (once the money is gonne i will have to try another site with a no deposit bonus and start all over again) but its not easy playing at these low limits, freerolls are crapshoots and low limit cash games 1 giant fishbowl

Well i made a few $ last night in my own private tourney 4/37 but that dont count for this challenge ofcourse, but it lifted my spirit after yesterdays debacle! And @ Poker770 the day started of great, i joined 3 $2 double up SnG and doubled up all 3 times! The first one was a tough ride tho, at one moment i only had 450 chips left with 5 players remaining i had to push all in with AT (blinds 50/100) and the whole table called! Flop was A44 Turn 5 River 4 not 1 of the 4 callers had Ace or 4 straight after that hand i took the small stack out with JJ vs AQ and started to bully like no tomorow, i had the big stack now and with 1 to go B4 $ i started to push them arround like they did when i had little chips, became an easy victory.
Wow just received an Email from Poker770 that i have received an extra $15 Bonus, so i hurry to the site expecting my bankroll to be higher but it seemed i had to collect 500 points to get $5 released from that bonus and i only have 15 days to do so!? YIKES i only got like 100 points in the past 4 days. If i want to get my hands on that cash ill have to play a bit more (prob the intention of the bonus to get u to play more). Just calculated to get 1500 points i need to play 150 $5 SnG in 15 days ( 10 a day ) pffff, ill give it a go for 3 days and see what points i get, if im on track ill continue for the whole $15.

Managed to play 6 $5.50 Heads up SnG tonight won 4 lost 2 so $7 profit and 72 points! But i found out a way to collect a few extra points hehe, i joined a $1/$2 NL game with 10 players and stayed only 1 orbit lost $3 but gained 47points for that bonus, Crazy folks on that table just the way i like it hehe, every hand they raised and reraised! for some hands i wasn t even in i received 12 points This is a gret way to get points but not to get a few bop in my account.

Just joined another forum so i would be able to enter their $200 freerolls, just my luck itsa FRENCH forum....only things i understood was freerolls (prob no french word for it) and mot de passe (password) but i dont mind a bit of French money hehe starts in a few hours...just enough time to work on my website/blog www.bloggen.be/bonus.
Ups and downs @ poker770 today, i made some cash in the $200 freeroll ( 5th $9.02 ) and won $8 in Heads up games during the freeroll but when i hit the cash tables i barely had time to warm up the seat when i got dealt AA mid possition, i raise it $3 and get 2 callers, flop commes Ac 7c 5h, im first to act and i bet $7.50, 1 goes all in for $41 other jokers calls instantly and im sitting there with top set??? i call for the whole $20 i sat down with player 1 has KcJc player 2 has Qc9c, turn is club river is club!!! bye bye $20
Just now i played another 2 $5 heads ups against the same player from Holland, it was a great game that got us chatting in the 2nd one, he managed to win the 1st one nicely when set a trap with trips, but the 2nd one i hit a str8 flush on the river ( hole: 8h9h flop Kd6h5h T: Qh River 7h ) Luckely he was holding the Kh and lost 80% of his stack in the 3rd level and never recovered. Its getting late now so time to see what we have sofar:

Had one of my private freerolls today so couldn t play @ Poker770 much, i stayed away from the cash tables tho after the slaughter party from yesterday, i played 2 $2 double up SnG and won the $2 easy so i hit the $5 Double up games to win the first one easy thx to a few brave calls early on but the 2nd and 3rd game didn t go so well out 1st out 1st lol i guess this isn t going to be my day afterall. Time to do a quick check on where i stand with the bonus 322/1500 points pffff not even getting close ill forget about this bonus for the time being maybe next time when i have a decent bankroll. I still might play a bit on the cash tables later, i need to get upto $100 in the next 2 days if i want to make $1.000 in 90 days!
